Construction Project Manager – High-Rise Residential

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team with high-rise residential experience. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing overall contract administration, technical expertise, and ensure the project is constructed per the design and support the overall project.

What your Responsibilities would be:
- Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust project plans as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide overall contract administration, technical expertise and support.
- Negotiate and issue subcontracts and monitor their progress and schedule
- Understands and enforces contracts and contract documents.
- Coordinate the project close out efforts
Qualifications
- Construction related degree or diploma
- PMP designation would be an asset.
- 5 years of construction experience with condos and apartments
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry including building materials, construction specifications, safety and quality managements practices.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Experience managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong computer skills, MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
- University Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Eng. or PMP designation would be an asset.

- Experience managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Experience in Healthcare or Clinics a must
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Strong computer skills, MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Deep knowledge of various design and construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, contract law, and relevant legislation
- Practical knowledge of procurement practices, bid preparation, and contracts.
