Project Coordinator - Construction

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. In this on-site role, you will assist in organizing, administering, and controlling project activities under the guidance of a Project Manager. Working closely with both the Project Manager and Superintendent, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating all aspects of assigned projects.

What your Responsibilities would be:

  • Efficient management of project documents using systems to ensure accessibility and organization.

  • Preparing, tracking, and reviewing project documentation, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Site Instructions (SIs), shop drawings, purchase orders, change notices, packing slips, and project completion documents, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.

  • Prepare Purchase Orders and Sub Contract change orders and monitoring for start to finish.

  • Assisting the project manager and superintendent in evaluating and improving overall project performance, including cost control, scheduling, safety protocols, and quality assurance.

  • Supporting activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project closeout, including document archiving and warranty management.

  • Coordinating meetings and ensuring accuracy in communications between subcontractors and consultants.

  • Attending project and subtrade meetings, capturing action items, and key decisions, and preparing meeting minutes

  • Regularly communicating with stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure project alignment and progress.

  • Conducting quality control activities, inspection programs, and maintaining construction progress records.

  • Providing administrative support to the project team and assist in various tasks as required.

  • Generating and completing project reports and promoting health and safety programs by adhering to project-specific safety standards and regulations.

  • Other project related requirements as they arise.
     

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience as a Project Coordinator, construction industry a must

  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry

  • Strong understanding of construction inspection processes

  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools such as Sage, Bluebeam, MS Project

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and on managing tasks
     

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37,934.00-$80,333.00 per year
