The Canadian Tire Centre (originally known as the Palladium and Scotiabank Place) is a multi-purpose arena located in Kanata, a suburb in Ottawa’s west end. The facility is home to the Ottawa Senators (National Hockey League) and routinely hosts marquee events such as music concerts, basketball games, and other entertainment events. It is home to the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame, several restaurants, a fitness complex, and several businesses.
ZW administered three Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts between the Client and the Construction Manager. These included a large civil works project comprised of the 417-highway interchange and all infrastructures required for the 22,000-seat arena. The facility was completed 5 months earlier than originally planned.
