PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Between 2000 and 2007, ZW assisted Carleton University in completing 17 separate new construction and renovation projects to expand and revitalize the campus. Many of the projects in this $250M program ran concurrently and on fast-tracked schedules. The Alumni Hall and Sports Centre was part of this revitalization.

The Alumni Hall & Sports Centre project is a combination of Athletic Facility requirements. The main construction was a triple basketball gymnasium that would be able to convert to volleyball or a University function such as convocation if required. The team rooms consist of Basketball and field sports team rooms with direct access to the fields. The cross/country ski team room, therapy room, and a wide concourse and registration area are also included. The 2nd floor added a media-sports viewing area and a multi-purpose room and cardio room. A classroom was also included on the 2nd floor.
