Project Value:$19 Million
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Between 2000 and 2007, ZW assisted Carleton University in completing 17 separate new construction and renovation projects to expand and revitalize the campus. Many of the projects in this $250M program ran concurrently and on fast-tracked schedules. The Prescott House was part of this revitalization.
A unique endeavor for this Residence was the change from the University’s standards of keying each suite to using a card swipe system that would work well for the summer Tour and Conference program.
This housing building is a 400-bed residential facility. Each floor offers a public area t.v. lounge and study room. All suites offer kitchens with a microwave and fridge and the facility was fully furnished. The complex was completed within a year of starting construction and opened for the first occupants moving in on Labor Day Weekend.
